a modern day movie hero is Iron Man. I don't really remember how to explain what was wrong with him, but he was slowly dying and there was nothing he could do about it in the second movie. His flaw was that the device that kept him alive and turned him awesomely into iron man was killing him. I know I'm a nerd, but that movie is awesome.

Romeo, he is in love with a girl that their families do not get along and they love each other and want to get married. Juliet acts like she's dead then Romeo thinks she is really dead so he kills himself and then Juliet wakes up and sees that he killed him self so she kills her self.

i think spiderman would be a good example for a tragic hero, because he risks his life to save others but still gets attacked and hurt by villains. His downfall is saving people.

Samba was the tragic hero in the lion king! The Lion King was based on Shakespeare's tragedy, Hamlet, and the makers of the film were able to get this influence into the movie. And Simbas tragic flaw was he ran away and got in trouble and his dad ended up being killed! Pretty interesting I never thought of the movie like that!

In Hancock, will smith (hancock) is a tragic hero who has this amazing power and he thinks no one else has it, but then he finds this girl he happens to be his long lost girlfriend but he doesn't know that, she has been trying to stay away from him but he always finds her. And what happens when there together is they get weaker and loose there powers, she's his tragic flaw, he wants to be with her but that would sacrifice both there powers.

i think Amanda Lewis had a really cool perspective on My Sister's Keeper. She is definately a tragic hero. When I saw that movie, I always assumed that the sister was the hero because she was fighting to keep her body parts. I never would have thought of Kate being the hero, that's really cool to think about.
