I am the Illustrator in my Literary Circle. I have drawn the scene when Genedel kills the 30 men. I have to color it and then I will be done. I have learned to visualize scenes by drawing them.

My job in my literary circle group is illustrator. I have to draw a picture about a scene in the story. I made a picture of Grendel running off with a spearman. I also colored it and now I'm done with it.

My role is the connector. The purpose of the connector is to relate Beowulf sections to real life. I have completed that role by connecting the sections in Beowulf to my life and current events in the world. Or events that have happened in the past. I have learned that there are lot of things that can relate to things in stories and poems.

My current role is illustrator in 'Corousal & Herot'. I've completed that by drawing a picture, showing a scene from that section. I've learned that there are a lot of fights & a lot of violence in this story.

I am the Connector in my Literacy group. What I have done is taken current events in history or life and connected them to whatever I am working on. The best thing would be how Grendel came in and killed the 30 men during their sleep. The best way to connect this, is how they are innocent and were killed least expecting it much like 9/11. We call it A Day to Remember because that was tragic and we will never forget it. Much like in the story they never forget how they were slaughtered.

I agree with caitlin. Because when we actually got focused on it the they were easer to do. Also it was better when we got settled down because we wernt trying to all get it in at once. This was easy when we made it that way because we could do section by section when we wanted to.

My role for one of the sections was to be the word wizard. In section 2 when I was the word wizard it was my job to find. Three examples using the following define, theme, simile, metaphor, ETC. for example I defined the word quarrel which is an angry argument or disagreement between two people who usually are on good terms.

I think the scene Bradley chose to draw was a good scene to draw. It would take a lot of vision to draw it. A lot of detail would need to be out in it as well. Great scene to complete his role though.

The current role I have in the literary circle is literary luminary for 'Murders of Grendel.' To me, literary luminary is the easiest because all you have to do is find lines that made you really have to think things through. I learned from this role that you understand stuff more if you go back and read it again.

One of the roles I have had this week would be connecter. The main job of the connecter is to relate the story to everyday life. Connecter is really easy to Understand because so many things happen everyday that can relate people, movies, tv shows, books and many other things to this story. One of the things I compare to the story would be, the movie movie the little mermaid. I compaired it to the poem because of the battles they go through.
