An everyday poetry use for me is music because its poetry but with music and im constatly listening to it. A metaphor i use is ' Life's journey is a bicycle ride down the hill '. And it's used saying that life is either a daring adventure or it's nothing. So have fun, make mistakes.

One everyday use of poetry that resonates most with me is the use of it when they are used in either commercials or posters and bilboards. This is used so many times in our everyday life. most of us see these examples more than people who read poems. A metaphor i know is i love you more than a fat kid loves cake

Poetry we hear every day is the lyrics in music.a phrase I hear all the time is a quote from John Donne no man is his own island. It means that every one needs to ask for help sometimes and I tells me that we should be at no time ashamed to do so.

Music and their lyrics are a good example of poetry. I listen to music everyday and most of the time, the lyrics are as beautiful as poetry. This is because the words flow with the music. One metaphor I have heard is, "Love is a fire in one's heart." I understand why people may say this because sometimes love hurts and feels like a fire in your heart.
